FAQ
When it comes to having your furry kid photographed, you want to make sure you are in good hands. The answers to the questions below will help to give you a better idea how we work and what you can expect from a photo session at our studio.
Should you have any further questions, please feel free to drop us a line or call us on the telephone.
What kind of pet animals do you photograph?
We specialize in photographing dogs and cats though on occasions have commissions to photograph other small pets such as ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits and hamsters.
Do you offer location sessions at my home or other places of my choosing?
We specialize in studio portraiture. The kind of photographs we create are really only possible with the use of controlled lighting and the distraction-free environment that our studio provides.
What if my pet won’t behave?
Your dog or cat is more cooperative than you think. We know many tricks and have a lot of patience. We will work with you to figure out a strategy to make the session fun and relaxing for your pet. Your dog or cat will be wonderful!
Do you have parking available at the studio?
We have parking space right next to our front door, enough for one car at the moment. In addition, there is ample parking space available along the street as well.
How long will my session take?
Most sessions run between 60 to 90 minutes. Sometimes more, sometimes less. It depends on your pet and the day. We never rush you. We take plenty of breaks for water, playing and exploring the studio.
When do I get to see my pictures?
We shoot directly to the computer, so each shot is instantly displayed on a monitor. This will give you the chance to follow the shoot, shot by shot. After that we sit together to make the final selection which takes about 20-30 minutes. The final enhanced images (+/- 20 images) are uploaded to a private online image gallery to which a link is sent to you within 24 hours after the shoot. From there you will be able to view all images and download them to your computer.
How long before I receive my prints at home?
After you have had a chance to view your images on the private gallery, you will need to let us know which images you want in print. Simply send us the image numbers and we process them accordingly. Usually about three to five days after that you will receive the print in the mail, provided that your mailing address is in the Bangkok Metropolitan area.
Should you prefer to pick up the images at the studio, this is fine, too. Just let us know what you would prefer.
When is payment for the photo session due?
We require a 50% deposit upon booking. The remaining balance can be paid in cash or by bank transfer upon completing the photo session at the studio.
My dog or pet is nervous of new people, will this be a problem?
Absolutely not, we have actually photographed for several rescue charities and are used to dealing with pets that perhaps did not have the best start to life.
Can I select the colour of the background?
Absolutely. Although we normally use black and white backgrounds, it is fine to use a different tone or colour, should you prefer so. Please let us know at least one week prior to the shoot.

How far in advance do I need to book?
Should you be fine with either a white or black background (and from experience we highly recommend selecting one of the two), normally we can schedule your appointment within three working days after initial contact. For background colours other than the above, we would need about 5-7 working days to prepare.
Will you take photos of me with my pet?
Absolutely. Although the focus will be on your pet, we will spend a good few minutes photographing you while engaging with your pet as well. This will also make your furry friend a bit more at ease with the new situation in the studio and enhance the final result.
Can I have more than one pet photographed in any session?
For an additional pet during the session, we charge 500 baht extra.
Should I have the pet groomed before the photography session?
It is not necessary, although some owners may wish to have that tidy look. If your pet is not going for the full grooming treatment, a good brush may give that coat an extra shine and more untangled look.
It is advisable to remove any stray hairs or other deposits from the eyes (unless it is typical for the breed of your pet that the eyes are not visible).
Should I bring along some of the dog's favourite toys?
Yes, please do. We do have a number of toys at the studio, but having access to toys that your pet is fond of is very welcome. We can often utilize these during part of the photography session.
Should I bring any pet food treats?
It is advisable to have them with you if your dog or cat responds well to certain treats.
